*What is Play Therapy and does my child need it?
Play Therapy is a counseling technique using toys as a means of expression. Instead of using words, children are able to use toys as a way to explore what is bothering them. The therapist has a variety of selected toys in the playroom to help facilitate play with the child. Play therapy is widely used as a resource for children experiencing change in their lives included by not limited to divorce, abuse, trouble making friends, home and school difficulties.
